It has been a fabulous, entertaining week all around the world. A week full of fashion, models, unique hair, incredible makeup and many new experiences.
On Tuesday New Zealand Fashion Week started with a bang. Ruby / Liam opened it, with an intriguing show show casing their gorgeous new collections. Throughout the rest of the week, there were shows from designers such as Stolen Girlfriends, Zambesi, Juliette Hogan, Blak, Charlie Brown, and Huffer. One of the highlights of the week was the Trelise Cooper show though. Towards the end of the show, the lights dimmed and three models wearing colour-changing LED balloon skirts took to the runway. She also made everyones night by giving out goody bags that lit up to match the skirts! What a show.
On Saturday, I went out to lunch at the Viaduct with a few friends and had an absolutely delectable, gooey chocolate brownie with chocolate chunks! We then went to the Designer Garage Sale that was being held in the main fashion week building. They had a wide range of beautiful clothing, but I didn't end up buying anything. We then went to the outrageous Pheonix Cosmetics Show. It was a show of dancing, music and crazy costumes!
I was also lucky enough to experience the glamour of being a model in the Taylor Boutique Fashion Show. It wasn't a huge event, but it was enough for me! I had a fabulous time being pampered and treated like a superstar!
